Who needs an Award in Education and Training?

Anyone who delivers learning engagements, whether these are training sessions, group workshops, one-to-one competency assessments or informal CPD sessions

 

Why do they need the Award?

The award is vital for those delivering training sessions to staff whose skills, knowledge and practice will be audited by the CQC

Their certificate will prove to an inspector that your trainers have been properly quality assured and deliver training to a high standard


 
What will learners gain from this programme?

Learners will gain a full, accredited Level 3 Award in Education and Training.

By completing the Award and meeting it’s standards, learners will be able to evidence they hold a qualification to train others

Throughout the course, learners will refine and develop their practical training skills, supporting them to deliver a variety of high quality learning engagements


 
How will we support learners?

Learners will be supported through our four-day training programme where we will provide information and advice on completing assignments, build on their portfolio of evidence, and develop their professional skills.

Support is also offered at a distance by phone and email.


 
How will we assess learners?

They will build a portfolio of evidence, which includes qualification assignments, a lesson plan, power point presentation, handout, activities and trainer’s notes, which we will quality assure against the required standards.

Learners will also deliver a 15 minute micro-teach session where we assess their training skills in a culmination of everything they've learned throughout the programme.
