This course is designed to assess the learner’s knowledge, understanding and skills to support coaching and mentoring of practitioners in health and social care or children and young people’s settings. It includes the ability to understand the benefits of coaching and mentoring and to plan implement ad evaluate the impact of coaching and mentoring in the work setting

  • Support practitioners to identify learning needs where it would be appropriate to use coaching

  • Different types of information, advice and guidance that can support learning in the work setting
  • Different information sources to determine that coaching and mentoring needs of practitioners
