Identify with different perspectives on death and dying
State the aims, principles and policies of end of life care
Explain factors to be taken into account regarding communication in the end of life care
Describe how to access the range of support services available to individuals and others
Describe current approaches to end of life care
Identify how to support those involved in end of life care situations
List how symptoms might be identified in end of life care
State what advance care planning is
Give an example of the impact of the last days of life on the individual and others
State actions to be taken following an individual’s death
Identify ways to manage own feelings
