This course has been developed for learners to gain the knowledge and practical competences required to deal with the range of emergency first aid situations. Learners will be able to demonstrate the practical administration of safe, prompt and effective first aid in emergency situations. They will gain an insight as to how they will support the qualified first aider including stocking of equipment and record keeping.
This course is delivered using a range of methods and resources including:
First Aid manikins, First Aid kit, scenarios, group discussions, small group activities and DVD clips.
