Course overview

This course has been developed to give support staff and senior staff an understanding of the way the CQC will inspect their services under the inspection model. Frontline staff will gain the confidence to support their manager through the inspection.
The course will also enable care and support staff and managers to better communicate with a CQC inspector when they are questioned on a service, which will support services to be better prepared across the whole staff team, and be a vital skill in securing a better inspection rating.
By attending this course, staff will gain an understanding of the 5 key questions, and what they will need to know in order to support the process of the inspection. Staff will understand what is involved in the Inspections and how these will be carried out.
