The wellbeing principle is a new legal requirement under The Care Act 2014. Individual wellbeing underpins the Act and is the driving force behind care and support. This course has been developed to give workers in the housing sector a good understanding of what wellbeing is and how to ensure that the wellbeing principle is embedded in all aspects of their work.
This course is delivered using a range of methods and resources including:
Small group activities, group discussion, scenarios and case studies.
This course has been developed and mapped to:
The Care Act 2014
British Red Cross Prevention in Action
And the following QCF unit:
Promote choice, wellbeing and the protection of all individuals
