Course overview

This course has been developed for learners who have not previously attended a Safeguarding Adults at Risk course. It is aimed at those working in the housing sector and will give learners an insight into the different categories of abuse and abuse indicators and the knowledge and skills to be able to respond to allegations of abuse in the correct way.
This course is delivered using a range of methods and resources including:
Case studies, group discussions, small group activities, Safeguarding Adult Reviews and enquiry forms.
This course has been developed and mapped to:

The Care Certificate Standard 10 and 11
Making Safeguarding Personal
