Course overview

Risk assessments are a legal requirement in the workplace where 4 or more people are employed. In order for these to be effective it is essential that those involved in compiling the assessments have a good understanding of how and why these are carried out within the organisation. This course will benefit all staff whose job role involves them working to, and involvement in, completion of risk assessments within their workplace.
This course is delivered using a range of methods and resources including:
Risk assessment template, risk rating matrix, group discussions, small group activities and hazard identification game.
