This course has been developed to give staff an insight into working with Service Users who are affected by Parkinson’s disease. For staff to work positively and constructively with people with Parkinson’s, it is essential they have a good understanding of the condition and the effects it has on the lives of the people affected by it. The knowledge gained throughout the course will benefit all Health and Social Care workers who may be responsible for the care and support of an individual with Parkinson’s Disease.
This course is delivered using a range of methods and resources including:
Case studies, group discussions, small group activities and DVD clips.
