Paediatric First Aid Two Day Level 2 Award

Course overview

This course has been developed for those who are working with children and infants up to the age of 8 years. It will be of particular interest to Teachers, Child Minders, Crèche Assistants, Playgroup personnel and anyone else who has a responsibility for the welfare of children and infants whilst in their care.
This two day course satisfies the guidelines and criteria as laid down by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and OFSTED. It is therefore ideal for individuals who wish to gain a nationally accredited Level 2 Award.
In order to obtain this qualification, you must attend both days and complete the 2 units of accreditation.
Assessment & Certification
Assessment of learning is ongoing throughout the course by the instructor through discussion, questioning, individual and group activities, practical work, observations and a multiple choice questions paper.
This course is fully accredited and on successful completion, learners will receive a 3 year qualification from our awarding body.
This course is delivered using a range of methods and resources including:
Case studies, group discussions, small group activities and DVD clips.
